Week 21 & 22 Update


Total weight gain:

10 pounds, maybe 11 by now.

Body changes:

Big belly, wider hips…wider everything ;)

Sleep:

Not so good lately because my back has been hurting a little. I hope it goes away at least until I hit the 3rd trimester. I have a massage on Friday, that may  help.

Best moment this week: 

Seeing my little peanut on the ultrasound screen. Feeling my little baby move a lot now. Setting up baby’s crib and showing it to Maia. Then watching Maia take her toys, one by one, that we put in new baby’s room because we needed temporary storage, back into her room. Priceless.

Gender:

Boy.

Food Cravings / Aversions: 

More sweets lately. Chocolate. Bread & carbs…haha
You know, all the good stuff. 

What I miss:

Working out. I totally dropped the ball and have not worked out lately as I planned to. With lately, I mean, the last 1.5 months. Sigh.

Symptoms:

Lower back pain. Overall lethargy. Maia wears me out. That counts as a workout, no?

Movement: 

Yes. Yes. Yes. Mostly at the end of the day or when I eat/drink sugar.

What I am looking forward to:

My final defense Nov. 19 yay!

Milestones: 

Getting licensed.

Thought of the week: 

Happy Halloween! Maia will be a butterfly girl J
