Week 32 Belly Update

Total weight gain:

Not quite sure…I’m sure around 25 pounds at this point.

Body changes:

Bigger everywhere.  Breasts, arms, legs, face….it’s all getting puffier and bigger. I don’t have k’ankles so I’m happy about that ;)
Melasma in my face is definitely more visible these days but my skin is still so good! I so hope…dream it stays this way after pregnancy!

Sleep:

It’s been really rough this past week. My back is almost the worst its been so far…I’ve had to get the heating pad out again and sleep with it a lot. Sometimes I fall asleep a bit before I turn it off which I don’t like because I’m not sure if that’s good for the baby. I put it at its lowest temp. When I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night, my back is so tight I have to turn it on just to warm my back up so I can move and get out of bed. That’s how it feels right now. I also haven’t done anything to make it feel better…I’ve just been so busy with other things. Oh this makes me laugh, because first pregnancies are so different. I did pregnancy yoga, stretched, smeared on stretch mark cream on my belly, did acupuncture, got massages and now I just ignore my back pain for the most pain, and pray that week 39 is around the corner LOL
Maybe I will get a massage in the next week or two, I’ve been thinking about it. I’m not sure I will do acupuncture for the back pain, just because it’s time consuming and costly since you have to go back several times. Oh and another thing about sleep…the amount of times I wake up to pee is ridiculous at this point. No wonder I don’t get enough sleep.

Best moment this week:

Watching Maia do things, playing and spending time with her, is always the best part of my week.

Gender:

Boy.

Food Cravings / Aversions:

Carbs in general. Fruits too. I’ve been eating pretty good over all, even though I could do better with skipping desserts ;)
I haven’t really been craving eggs, avocado, and hummus.

What I miss:

Not feeling like a whale.

Symptoms:

Back pain. Hormonal at times. Feeling warm. Lower cramps in abdomen, I’m not sure if it’s Braxton hicks or not.

Movement:

Yes. A little less than I did a few weeks ago. I guess little guy is running out of space.

What I am looking forward to:

Seeing little guy on the ultra sound, I believe in 2.5 weeks. I am also looking forward to the Gottman workshop this Friday and Saturday. Not having plans this weekend evening.

Milestones:

Fixing up my yard that I have terribly neglected.

Thought of the week:

I’ve been reading the book the Gold Finch by Donna Tartt almost every spare minute I have. I’m really liking it so far…
