Total weight gain:
30lbs (thankfully I didn’t gain
anything in one week)
Body changes:
Really round, packed big belly.
People come up to me and will say “you’re having a boy, right?” So funny!
Nobody used to do that when I was pregnant with Maia. I guess I really have a
(pretty) boy belly!
Sleep:
Ugh, not great at all. Tossing and
turning, using all kinds of pillows. Peeing all the time. It’s pretty miserable
at this point, I ain’t gonna lie!
Best moment this week:
Seeing little guy on ultra sound!
He looked so peaceful and cute. The second I saw him, I saw Maia. It was really
strange but I could totally see the resemblance…I remember exactly what Maia’s
last ultra sound looked like. I went back and looked at it after and they look
similar. Well, they are siblings after all LOL
Gender:
BOY!
Food Cravings / Aversions:
Craving a banana in the morning and
fruit through out the day. Cereal, ice cream, honey bread…yeah the usual carb
factory!
What I miss:
I really miss taking a hot bath with
a glass of champagne, followed by a nice deep sleep.
Symptoms:
I had several occasions of bad
cramps in the middle of the night. Wow, pretty damn painful. I had to get up
and walk around. Couldn’t sleep on either side, it was so bad. Doc simply says
it’s the baby pressing on an organ or being in a certain position. Nothing to
do. They were not contractions. It felt more like somebody stabbed me in the
bottom of my abdomen, always on the right side. It’s only happened at night
when I am sleeping. It’s especially bad when I wake up and my bladder happens
to be full too, then it’s extra painful.
Movement:
Yes. Yesterday he moved a lot,
today not so much.
What I am looking forward to:
Going into labor, hopefully
sometime in February…after the 19th (that way he will be a pisces
like his mama hehe J)
Baby is already measuring on the
large side…6lbs15oz…larger than what Maia measured at less weeks pregnant. He
will most likely be more than 8lbs which kind of freaks me out, a lot actually.
Though often times the docs over estimate the weight but they were pretty right
on with Maia. My doula tells me not to freak out, it will be good. My doc
doesn’t recommend me going over 40 weeks so I am hoping baby will come before
on his own without me having to schedule delivery. I have borderline high
levels of amniotic fluid, which simply means it could put me into labor sooner
which would actually be a good thing! We shall see…I meet with my doula tomorrow.
Milestones:
Getting through the next and last
month of my pregnancy…yippie!
Thought of the week:
This rain is killing me this year!
It’s been a lousy winter so far here in South Florida!
